A Quick Update
Have you ever heard of Fiverr? If you haven’t, check it out here. http://www.fiverr.com It is a program that lists MANY, and I do mean many, services that are available, and most of the jobs start at….wait for it….five dollars – hence the name. These services range from tech support to fashion tips. I have been amazed at what is “out there.” You search for the area in which you need support and then you can post a need or question and then people respond with their availability and prices. Like I said, I have been amazed. I have often heard Mary Poppins’ voice in my mind, “Close your mouth, Kim, you are not a codfish.” 🙂
Well, when I broke my site last week I thought several times about putting the request for help on Fiverr. I finally followed through with it and it was picked up by a wonderful guy in Viet Nam. He was so quick to respond and fixed the problem within a few hours. YAY! Now, we are back online and ready to flow.
It has really been stirring in my heart to create a challenge for us to complete together. I have been thinking along the lines of a 30-day prayer challenge – where we ask God to put someone on our heart and we pray for that person consistently for thirty days. I have also considered a scripture memorization challenge that lasts a month long. We could even have an exercise challenge where we walk each day for a month. And, if you are like me, there are areas of my house that need to be decluttered (IN A BIG WAY), so I have considered doing a 30-day declutter-a-thon.
In order to do this, I would need to create a game plan that includes a detailed explanation of the challenge, a checklist of sorts, and a place to record our insights along the way. My goal is to use this to grow as individuals and to grow our community.
The reason I share this is two-fold.
- Developing and implementing this challenge may be a tad time consuming on my part. So due to recovering from my injury, and staying true to what God has put in my heart about being a turtle (Slow and easy wins the race,) I will only add one post/article to BeLoved Completely once a week on Thursday.
- I would love some feedback from you. Which of the topics would you be willing to work on with community support? The time commitment would be 10-15 minutes a day for a month.
I need to hear from you. Take a quick minute to answer the following question and I will let you know the result next Thursday.
Don’t forget to take the time to BeLoved Completely today and as you do, revel in the fact that you are loved more than you know.
With love, Kim
